Ermanno Scervino SS19 Resort

Sartorial and Pop Art come together to create the new Resort SS 19 collection by Ermanno Scervino – a glamourous, dynamic and colourful offering that fuses high fashion with contemporary everyday wear.

A 1970s London atmosphere inspires feminine looks and streetstyle. Shorts or lightweight lace dresses are worn under fringed suede jackets or fine Vichy raincoats, while canvas is repurposed with a sartorial take and turns into elegant outerwear. With a rock soul, leather becomes lighter and softer to go from jackets to shirts and is paired with tartan, used on sophisticated jackets or innovative trouser-kilts.

A pop touch, marked by vibrant colours and designer jacquard, affects street icons such as denim and T-shirts, made of fine jacquard, and then it spreads into more elegant garments, such as organza bustier dresses or double fabric coats, which feature neon shades and a unique kimono cut. Even the tuxedo becomes a pop statement: worn over a T-shirt, it is jazzed up with colourful micro-floral prints. In their larger version, floral prints embellish evening gowns.

Stripes are reinterpreted as a feminine pattern on dresses and exhibited slip dresses. Fine materials such as satin and cady enhance the softness of loose fitting trousers.
