Ermenegildo Zegna and The Estée Lauder Releases a New frangrance

Both Companies Companies Ermenegildo Zegna and The Estée Lauder presents the new Essenze Eau de Parfum collection during Salone del Mobile by celebrating the launch with a dynamic, bespoke fragrance installation designed and fabricated by Zegna and The Estée Lauder Companies, inspired by material exploration house T H E U N S E E N.

The Ermenegildo Zegna Essenze Eau De Parfum collection is composed of five special fragrances, each highlighting an individual, precious ingredient and featuring Zegna’s exclusive Bergamot, which is harvested from a single field in Italy’s sun-soaked region of Calabria. They include: Mediterranean Neroli, Indonesian Oud, Madras Cardamom, Florentine Iris and Italian Bergamot.

 With the richer version of Essenze, Ermenegildo Zegna has once again combined exacting simplicity and unparalleled craftsmanship. Like the luxurious yarns woven into Zegna’s designs, each Essenze Eau de Parfum was created using fine and rare ingredients in nature and sourced from around the world. Inspired by the principles of couture collections, each scent is personally selected and brilliantly composed by a master perfumer to reveal its most vivid, complex and richly textured expression.

 During the launch event, which was hosted at the Ermenegildo Zegna Global Store in Milan, guests had the incredible opportunity to explore each Essenze Eau de Parfum scent and the emotions it sparked thanks to a one-of-a-kind sensorial experience at the world-renowned design fair. Conceived from research by T H E U N S E E N it explored new ways of visualizing scents that cannot be seen. Spread across five cubic spaces, one per parfum, each environment provided a sensorial experience through the use of colour to visualise emotions associated with fragrance.

 T H E U N S E E N explored how scent can be used as a material, where light plays a key role, as a way to pay tribute to the Euroluce 2019 edition (Salone internazionale dell’illuminazione) that this year is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
